By using the Slimline floor system, a bridge between two towers has been created at a height of 75 meters.
Due to the complexity of this span, Slimline Buildings and Indi B.V., a specialist in the field of subfloor application, have been involved with the project in an early stage. The bridge construction is extraordinary, as it’s placed on two traditionally built towers. “A complex construction, but with a good reason”, says Jack Koot, branch and project manager with Indri. “Because the building is 75 meters high and built in wind-area 2, the wind load on the bridge is high. In order to map the wind effects on the bridge, the individual floors and the towers, calculations and models have been made. The solution with the Slimline floor system was selected based on these calculations.”
